오-스케이프 아키텍튼은 관찰(Observation), 장면(Scene/frame, 건축가(들)(Architects in Dutch)의 세 가지 키워드로부터 생겨났습니다.
건축에 대한 다른 시각(Different Point of View)을 갖고, 더 나아가서 의미 있는 관점(Meaningful Perspective)을 지니기 위해서, 거시적으로는 도시에 대한 관찰 뿐 아니라 미시적으로는 일상에 대한 관찰이 필수적일 것입니다.
O-SCAPE의 대상은 무엇이든 될 수 있습니다. Architecture가 Arche[근원]을 드러내는 Techne[만드는 것]이라면 관찰의 대상은 그 스케일에 따라 자연(nature)일 수도, 도시(city)일 수도, 건물(building)일 수도, 혹은 가구(furniture)일 수도 있습니다.
O-SCAPE로 하여금 사람들이 공간을 감각(sense)할 수 있기를 바랍니다.
O-SCAPE Architecten is evolved from three kind of key-words - observation, scene/frame, architects. It is necessary to not only observe urban macroscopically, but day-to-day microscopically to have different view point for life, then meaningful perspective will be achieved.
The target of the O-SCAPE can be anything. If architecture is composed of Arche[Origin] and Techne[Making/Doing], it’s destination can be nature, city, building, even furniture design.
O-SCAPE hope that people can sense the spatial quality throughout their own perception.
